Personal profile Prof. Dr. Ye's research interest focuses on the scientific metrics and interdisciplinary informatics. His publications include more than 100 articles that have appeared in Scientometrics, Journal of Informetrics, Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, Physica A; Scientific Reports, etc., with 3 monographs and 3 textbooks. His main academic contributions include (1) scientific metrics with interdisciplinary applications; (2) h-type metrics for network analysis; (3) unified informetric mechanism described by wave-heat equations. His research interest also extends to physical and economic philosophy. Prof. Dr. Ye is now a full professor in Nanjing University, Fellow of European Academy of Sciences and Arts, a life-long member of International Society for Scientometrics and Informetrics and the member of the Editorial Committees for Journal of Informetrics, Journal of Data and Information Science and so on.
